A very expensive Day's of 47 Rodeo...

On July 21, 2009 we were lucky enough to get free tickets to the:Uncle Woody received a free suite and invited all of us! SO you're probably thinking...if the tickets were free, why was the Rodeo so expensive?! Keep reading to get the answer!
My Handsome Pa keeping score!
My Lil Jack~ee
My Mom and I

The love of my life and I Jensey playing with his cars and trucks. I always carry a few in my purse
because they keep him entertained anywhere and everywhere we go!
Mommy and Jack BEST BUDS
Everyone needs a good beverage at the RODEO!
Whiplash the Monkey... He is always our FAVORITE part of the Rodeo!
About 1/2 way thru the Rodeo I noticed Jaden run outside of the suite so I quickly followed him. He was stopped just outside the door and was gasping for air. He told me he was fine but was having a hard time breathing. I ran and grabbed his inhaler, gave him a few hits, waited... while waiting I noticed Ben was struggling to breath as well! At this point I grabbed Jack and Jensen and told everyone we had to leave because Jaden and Ben could not breathe. We went home that night and immediately I started Jaden on his emergency dose of steroids. Usually when we start steroids we are in the clear after a day. Unfortunately that was not the case this time. The week came and went then the weekend came... I knew he wasn't doing the best BUT I didn't think he was real bad either. On Sunday evening Jaden came to me asking for his inhaler, when I looked at him I noticed his lips were blue! Not the best thing to see on your Son. I grabbed my shoes, yelled to Ben I was off to the Instacare and we left. I am so thankful to God that we left when we did! Good Oxygen Sats are 95-100, under 90 is dangerous, when you get in the low 80s...your loosing brain cells due to the lack of Oxygen, Jaden was between 82-85. The lowest I have ever seen him.
They immediately started inhaled steroids and oxygen then...
They whisked him away in an ambulance. I wish I could say this was a first for him BUT it wasn't. This was the 3rd time in his life he has been taken by ambulance to Primary Children's due to his asthma.
Jaden's AMAZING Daddy rode with him because I get so dang sick (the last time I threw up in the ambulance and I was so embarrassed I wanted to die in it!)
Taking a break from the O2 trying to see if he can breathe on room air.

We were so thankful when we noticed we had Dad/Ben as a Resident that night!

The Resident should have known where,
whatever he was looking for was! LOL

In our room watching a movie...
We watched tonz... Free Willy, Flipper, The Indian in the Cupboard to name a few!

Primary's is such an amazing hospital. They brought crafts and toys and video games and great food and WHATEVER else you want to keep Parents and Kids happy!
Jaden is so lucky, his Dad left his side ONLY for 2 hours or so, just to run home and get us clean changes of clothes.
FINALLY he is breathing on room air only!
This was while we were waiting to be released,
Jaden was getting sick of being in bed so he and Dad traded places!
Day's of 47 tickets for our Family to sit in the suite: FREE
Dinner and junk food: $50 BUCKS
Instacare, Ambulance & 2 days at Primary Children's Hospital (Not including Dr.s): $5,798.00

Late...I know!

Here are some pictures from Jaden's visit with Grandma in San Diego!

It's so wierd to me!
The last picture I took of Jaden was exactly the same as this one EXCEPT...
he was walking away from Me. Now, he's walking to Grandma!
2 hours passed and my Boy was calling me (2 States away)
to say he made it safe!
Lovin the San Diego sand!
This picture is so peaceful!
What a HAM!
Ummm... can you say G.Q.?
Boogie Boardin Babe!
"Thumbs up dude."
OK... I'll admit, he's mine!
What a smart a$$!
While looking thru my Mom's pictures I came to these ones and about died.
When Grandma wasn't around Jaden was taking pictures of himself!
"I'm cool, I know it...I'll take a picture of myself with Grandma's camera to show it..."
Grandma spoiled Jaden with a trip to Sea World
Shamu splashin' the peeps in the"splash zone."
YEP!!! Jader's sat in the "ZONE!"
Star Fish Ponds
"Hurry and take the picture...I'm not sure about holding this thing."
"Watch your back..."
My Dad gave Jaden $100.00 to spend in Cali. He told us he wanted to spend his money having dinner with Shamu. Well...thats exactly what he did!
Let me just tell ya, I talked to Jaden a few different times while he was attending his dinner party...I've never heard him so happy!
Back at Grandma's
Looks like someone found the camera AGAIN!
This is my Mom and Marty.
Marty had polio as a young girl. Unfortunatley, it has affected her severly.
My Mom lives with and takes care of Marty. She is such a neat lady with LOT'S of fun stories!
Marty drinking from a straw (it's what she loves most.)

The Day Jadens Dreams came true!

While in San Diego my Mom made 1 of Jaden's DREAMS come true!
She took him to Angels Stadium to watch a LIVE, MLB Game. They played his FAVORITE team,

T H E.............................
I knew about the surprise but only a few days prior. I sent his Yankee gear but he chose to wear his RIVERTON ALL STARS uniform, and look how proud he wore it!
1 of Jaden's FAVORITE Players...# 13, Alex RODriguez
Look at them YANKEES!!!
The HUGE scoreboard
Jaden's other FAVORITE... #2, Derek Jeter!!!
Look how close they were to where the Yankees warmed up!
Saaaa....Weeeet!!!
This is #47 Howie "Kendrick"
& #28 Jaden "Kendrick"
The ironic thing... Howie Kendrick used to play for the SL Bees!

Proud to be an AMERICAN and a Mom!

I just wanted to say... how proud I am of my Boys. Every time we see a US Soldier they don't hesitate to say "Thank you for what you do for us." My Mom taught us this long ago and I have passed it on to my Boys. It makes me feel so good inside to see/hear them THANK a Soldier for fighting for our freedom! I love you Boys, you make your Mommy proud EVERY day!

My baby isn't such a baby anymore...

Today I did the HARDEST thing I have EVER done... in fact, my heart is literally racing right now just blogging it! Anyway, Jaden decided about a week ago that he was ready to fly ALONE. So, I called my Mom...set up a date...looked for flights...called my Dad for his credit card info (LOL)...then booked the flight! PIECE of CAKE, that part! I wasn't too nervous until yesterday, for some reason him being alone, in a plane heading to a different state got to me! TODAY...I flipped! Anyway, long story short...he made it just fine. It turns out it WAS harder on me than him!
Here he is!!!
Now it just wouldn't be official without WINGS and...
...proper identification!Meet the newest crew member of Jet Blue...
My baby and me...this is when I still had make up left!
Jaden gets sick of my camera always in his face so I told him...the airline people said I need to take lots of pictures in case they need them!!! Don't worry, he didn't buy it!
I love this face...I'm going to miss it BAD!!!
This is where I am headed...
"See you soon Son" AND this is where I F R E A K E D!!!

After talking to both my Parent's and Ben I calmed down and headed to the parking lot.
Then I saw this...... the tears were a flowin' and I couldn't talk. I'm sure bystanders thought I'd just received some horrible news. LOL!

AND again! NOT goodbye but... See you soon!
Jaden, I love you so much, I hope you have a blast!

Free Time...What's that???

Ok this picture is kinda mean BUT, I couldn't stop laughing when it happened. Last week was so busy, we are moving, working, going thru some legal things etc. WELL...my gas light had been on for 2 days. I knew I was okay because...come on, we all push the limit a little RIGHT???
Anyway, we get on the freeway and it hit me "aggghhh I forgot to get gas AGAIN." I proceed to explain to Ben why my gas light has been on for days when I notice...put, put, put, put, "Oh my gosh we are running out of gas on the freeway!!!" We make it to the 90th South exit, by now I've turned off the radio, air conditioner, and advised the boys to thrust back and forth so we can coast down the off ramp (ok, I didn't really tell them that.) The light turns RED...we were so close BUT not close enough! I look over at Ben, he gives me this look like ARE YOU SERIOUS...then I say "start walking!" I was laughing so hard when he actually did! Well he hoofed it to the gas station with my SMART water in hand and hoofed it back, by now we were all dripping with sweat BUT our "HERO" saved the day!!! Thanks Babe for laughing with us, thanks for not getting mad at me and thanks for....just bein' you!!!
