Free Time...What's that???

Ok this picture is kinda mean BUT, I couldn't stop laughing when it happened. Last week was so busy, we are moving, working, going thru some legal things etc. WELL...my gas light had been on for 2 days. I knew I was okay because...come on, we all push the limit a little RIGHT???
Anyway, we get on the freeway and it hit me "aggghhh I forgot to get gas AGAIN." I proceed to explain to Ben why my gas light has been on for days when I notice...put, put, put, put, "Oh my gosh we are running out of gas on the freeway!!!" We make it to the 90th South exit, by now I've turned off the radio, air conditioner, and advised the boys to thrust back and forth so we can coast down the off ramp (ok, I didn't really tell them that.) The light turns RED...we were so close BUT not close enough! I look over at Ben, he gives me this look like ARE YOU SERIOUS...then I say "start walking!" I was laughing so hard when he actually did! Well he hoofed it to the gas station with my SMART water in hand and hoofed it back, by now we were all dripping with sweat BUT our "HERO" saved the day!!! Thanks Babe for laughing with us, thanks for not getting mad at me and thanks for....just bein' you!!!

The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.

Some days my Kids make me happy, some days they make me scream, sometimes they make me thankful but every day they make me laugh.

Last night while driving home from dinner with the Family, Jaden decided to tryout his new "stand-up" routine on me. In the car was Jaden & Me in the front seat, Jack & Jensen in the back. We were all full, relaxed, chew on our toothpicks and enjoying some tunes. Out of no where Jaden says "eeeewwww...I got a toothpick with someone's booger on it."

I looked over and for a split second, tried to figure out how the heck a booger stayed on the toothpick after it came out of the dispenser. I also was so happy he got it and not me.) Then I realize...the lil snot was playing me! I sad "you sick-o that's YOUR booger." He cracked up laughing so hard, got a tissue to remove it and said "gottcha!"
Here is a picture of him after the booger was disposed of!

Hey Batter, Batter, Batter...SWING!

It's bitter sweet BUT... it's over!
For the last 3 months all we did was: EAT, DRINK, SLEEP, THINK and PLAY Baseball!! When the regular season ended I was happy and sad... HAPPY to have my boy back, no more 2+ hour practices 3-4 times a week, no more trying to make Jack & Jensen happy during 2 hour games etc. SAD that I don't have anything to do on practice nights or game days, no more sunflower seed spitting in the bleachers, no more fun chats with other baseball Mom's etc. Oh but don't worry about me too much...My little stud made All Stars! So we were given the opportunity to continue all these things. The changes... now the games are in Magna/Taylorsville, the practices are 2+ hours 6 (yes I said SIX) days a week, it's the middle of June, hot as hell and all we want is to go camping!!! Then... Games started and we had a blast, it was intense and loud, we were constantly looking forward to the next game and trying so hard to make State. Well we got beat...and now it's ALL over, and we are sad AGAIN!
Here are some pictures of our short but fun All Star Season.

Breakfast, A Beautiful Drive, Good Company AND Fishing

Since My Dad, Ben and I all had the 1st week of July off we decided to make some memories!
The Plan: Drive up Provo Canyon, past the Cabin in Charleston, down the "old river road," into Heber. Stop at Chick's for Breakfast, drive up and over Cascade Springs, down to Tibble Fork to fish!!
AND, we're off...
So excited...
