Weekend Fun...

So, I decided that since I am so far behind... I will just skip the last few weeks!

SAD? I know but I get too overwhelmed and then I don't want to even attempt to blog.

Weekend Fun

Oldtimers, weekends, and airplane landings are alike.

Thursday Night (I know it's not really a weekend night but who cares huh?!) we watched

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. If you haven't seen this movie, you should. It's a love/hate relationship... some love it and some hate it. I LOVED it! There are so many hidden messages. Ben liked it too...

Friday Night Ben and I went on a date, just the 2 of us. We went to see Angels & Demons, a movie we have both been looking forward to since the previews. I LOVED it! Ben said it was "okay". I guess he was a little disappointed because he read the book first. You know how that is!

Saturday Morning we woke up and headed to the park for Jaden's 8am baseball game. He did great, all the kids did. We lost BUT learned a very valuable lesson from our Coaches... Winning doesn't matter, having fun is what matters... and Boy O' Boy did they have fun!!

Saturday Afternoon (pictures to come soon) the boys and I went to Candace's and worked in her yard, Holy crap it was a ton of work!! Candace, her Mom...Mary Jane and I worked our butts off for about 5 hours. We got some major weeding and planting done, we even put together a way cute chair for her front porch! Even though I got FRIED and my butt muscles were KILLING me... I had a great day with the 2 of them talking and laughing all day!

Saturday Night Me, Ben, the Boys (well 2 of our 3), my Handsome Dad, Rylee, Rick, Reagan and a few more friends met up at WingNutz for a Beer, some wings and good converstaion!

Sunday Morning I woke up before the kids and made Chicken Enchiladas. We had plans to spend the day swimming and I knew I wouldn't feel like making dinner when I got home.
Sunday Early Afternoon the boys and I met up with Sarah, Kaden, Aunt Lydia, Stephan and Byron for a day swimming. Everyone had a great time.




Sunday Afternoon/Evening when Ben got home from work and we got home from swimming, we ate our "already prepared" chicken enchiladas then watched the movie Red Dragon. I liked it, Ben has seen it, Jack fell asleep and Jaden was scared to death!! Oh well, we gave him the option and told him it was scary... I really liked having him cuddle with me though, there is just something so magical about cuddling with your HUGE 7 year old baby!!

During all this fun...we were missing a very important LINK to our family,
our little Jensen "Ding"! We missed him so much!!

This is to my Mom, whom I miss so much everyday.

Even though you are just a phone call away, sometimes it seems too far.

Last night was the scariest night of my life, (yes scarier than my "near death experience" and you know... I didn't think ANYTHING would top that!) I can't explain how many things went thru my head. I was so helpless. I have thought about you all day, I have cried tears of joy knowing you are fine and laughed as I realize I may have overreacted (just a bit :). I have thought about how lucky I am that I can write this and you can read it. I can't imagine life without you. I am so thankful for you, for what you have taught me, given me and the way you molded me into who I am.

I am happy, happier then I have ever been. I have met my soul mate, the 1 I live for, who I couldn't love anymore. I have 3 of the most amazing boys in the world. I have an awesome Family but most of all... I have you.

A little of this & A little of that...

I really have nothing to blog about, sad huh? I guess I can tell you a story about each 1 of the kids...!
JADEN:
Last week I realized my "oldest" baby is getting BIG. I was hanging laundry and his shirts kept falling off the hangers... I had to move all his clothes from the baby/kid hangers to adult hangers. I know this may sound silly but it really was sad!
JACK:
Beware, this is nasty...not something I'm proud of but it's worth journaling for future torture!
The other day while sitting on the floor next to Jack's bed I could here him
breathing in & out, in & out through his nose. I looked up at him just in time to see the BIGGEST booger ever moving in and out each time he sniffed. Most Mom's would do the same... reach up and grab it without thinking, just then he said "AWWWE Mom, I was gonna eat that." I almost puked, not only did I just hear my Son (whom I swore would NEVER EVER eat a booger) say he was going to eat that BUT I had that BIG boogie between my fingertips! SICK!!!
JENSEN:
Our little Jensen is getting smarter and smarter every day! He is FINALLY off his binki and starting to express himself verbally! His latest thing is to move our Kitchen chairs out, climb up and sit in the middle of the table! It's cute but dangerous, so we have been telling him "No, No" constantly. He even looks at the chairs and we tall him "No." Well yesterday he wouldn't stop, everytime we took him off the table he would get right back up and do it again. The funny part...Ben decided that every time he did this he was going to spend 1.5 minutes in timeout. It was so funny watching Ben get him off the table and take him up to timeout over and over for a good hour. Ben was trying so hard to be stern and teach him a lesson but it just wouldn't work!
Well, I hope that my stories kept you entertained...I told ya it was just "a little of this & a little of that."
