My WHOLE Family...

Every year, the last Sunday before Christmas our family gets together for an annual Christmas Party. Because our family is SO BIG... this year we had it at an extended realative's club house. The food theme was Italian, EVERYTHING was to die for! We start around 2:00, eat, play, clean up, play then wait for Santa!

So, if you read my blog you know how much Jack loves to clean! Aunt LaRaine and him were fighting over the vacuum. She finally gave in and everyone was impressed at how good of a job he did! He earned $2.00 for helping!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? A yellow duffle / backpack with a built in radio, it was from my Grandma Shirley!
7. Hardest person to buy for? My Mom, Kim and Lori
8. Do you have a nativity scene? No, I really need 1. I think I'll splurge and buy a nice 1 after Christmas when they are on sale!

10. Favorite Christmas movie? ELF, The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street!
11. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year, I bought my first items in JUNE! Usually... as early as possible!
12. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? NO
13. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? A HUGE breakfast at my parents house on Christmas morning. Unfortunatley this year it will be at my house with only 1 of my parents :(
14. Lights on the tree? Yes, WHITE lights.
15. Favorite Christmas song? Any song by Amy Grant BUT especially "Breath of Heaven."
16. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home
17. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Yes
18. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star for now BUT, Angel is in the future!
19. Open presents Christmas eve or Christmas day? P.J.'s on Christmas Eve, Presents and Santa about 5 am Christmas Morning! What can I say...I'll always be a kid at heart!
20. The most annoying thing about this time of year? I get annoyed at how many people forget what Christmas is about. I ALSO hate when people write "X-Mas" instead of "Christmas" Why leave "Christ" out of his own Birthday?
21. Favorite ornament theme and color? Santa riding a Killer Whale AND my Statue of Liberty!
22. Favorite for Christmas dinner? We don't have Christmas Dinner, we just snack & munch all day!
23. What do you want for Christmas this year? I want my kids to be happy, I want Ben to be happy AND I want our Soldiers home safe!
24. Favorite Christmas tradition? Candlelight Service at Church, then going to light the trees on my Grandma Shirley's grave in Sandy & my Grandpa Verlo's Grave in West Jordan! And YES, My Ben is going with us this year! I love it!

The CIRCUS is coming to town!

So Friday night we went to Iggy's to surprise my God Mom, Kim for her 50th Birthday! While we were waiting for our food and enjoying good conversation my other God Mom Lori got up and walked outside. She came back in with 2 smaller sized presents, 1 for me and 1 for Kim. On the tag they said "open while on the phone with eachother." So, Lori says I wanted to wait til Christmas but I thought this would be easier. Kim and I both open our presents........ Lori bought us each the new Britney CD and in the cover TICKETS TO THE CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!! I was so freakin excited, I've been telling everyone how much I want to go. Well guess what? I'm going, with 1 of my FAVORITE people ever! Me & Kimmie are going to have a blast! Thanks Lori!

Christmas Love...

So, I know how much I post about this BUT I thought since it's Christmas it would be a little different. Instead of LOVE, I'm posting about CHRISTMAS LOVE!
I want to tell everyone how special The Love of my Life really is!
Some of you know Ben and I have been going thru some things at work. Since we work together we are not only dealing with it all day but then... we spend a lot of time talking about things at home too. It has been a stressfull couple of weeks but the good news is, we are looking at the positive things! With that being said, we both had our schedules changed. I was originally supposed to be off for Christmas and now... I have to work it 7:00 - 3:00 and Ben is scheduled off! I was so upset, our first Christmas and we can't be together and worse than that... I will be away from my babies ALL day.
OK, before everyone feels too bad, my Benny saved the day! He is going to work for me so I can stay home with the kiddies! How AMAZING is HE? This is just another 1 of the things he does that makes me LOVE him so much more!

4 Wheelers & Dirt Bikes... Oh My!

Last weekend Ben and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather (Beautiful not WARM)! We bundled up and headed for the hills with Jaden, Jensen, a 4 wheeler and a dirt bike in tow!
